It is little wonder then, this is a popular costume throughout the entire year. After all, it ticks a lot of boxes. Sexy, 80's, cute, girly, frilly are just some of the genres this type of costume can cover.
Of course, there are plenty of other 'looks' you can adopt if you want to dress up as Madonna, each look will be just as easily identified!
The great thing about the sassy Madonna costume look is you can easily pull it together from items you have in your closet.Perhaps you can borrow from your mother, aunts or other female family members who probably has some of this stuff (read original 😄...) still laying around! Now that would make a great costume.
Or if you just want to buy something online - here is a couple of ideas below...
It features a pink top, pink and black skirt, bow belt, arm cuffs and black fishnet leggings.
The arm cuffs are a little different from the usual lace gloves.
They are much more practical as you will always have your hands free.
Easy if you need to use the bathroom a lot!
This is a fun costume and it's really easy to add some inexpensive 80s style jewelry to give the costume a more authentic feel.
This costumes top can run a bit small so keep that in mind when you order it.
This version of a Madonna costume is very versatile and can be adapted to Cindy Lauper as well.
In fact, when I look at it, it does remind me of 'girls having fun'
Here we have a black and pink dress with a chain belt.
You have full hand matching glovelettes, a necklace and the matching leggings.
There are even hairpieces as part of this set.
Overall, Madonna is of my time but would be fun not just for women but also can look really cute on a little girl.
With a bit of tweaking you could also adapt it for a plus size costume that doesn't reveal too much!
Just add a longer skirt or add some more netting. Done.
